Joe Bacon

Joe Bacon, 74, of East Moline, passed away, March 22, 2014 in Colona. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be left to the family. Joe was born on February 12, 1940 in Lexington, Mississippi, the son of George and Effie Mabry Bacon. He was a factory worker. Joe loved to fish and golf Those left to honor his memory include his daughter, Alyssa Honn, Davenport; Son, Calvin Patterson, Minneapolis, MN.; Four Grandchildren, Calvin Fant, Jr., Randy Parker, Queen Beards, and Jose Ramos, Jr.; Brother, Muriel Bacon, Lexington, MS; a special friend, Melanie Lewis, East Moline. One Step-son Willie Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Clara, siblings, Estella, Robert, Clyde , Gwen, Wardell , and James Bacon Joyce Parnell, and Delores Davenport.
