Jose L. Garcia, 72, of East Moline passed away Feb. 9, 2018 at Heartland Healthcare in Moline.
Per his wishes he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Jose was born Aug. 14, 1945 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico the son of Julio and Cruzita Dones Garcia. He was a bar owner and enjoyed playing dominoes and watching boxing.
Survivors include his common law wife Juanita; children Jose Jr, Jesse, Joanna, Julie and Jeannette; 16 grandchildren; 1 great grandchildren and a brother Jose Medina.
