Joseph T Duncan

Joseph T. Duncan, 82, of Colona passed away Wednesday. March 12, 2025 at his home.

A celebration of Life will be held 1-4pm Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the family home. 

Joseph was born March 20, 1942 in Rock Island, IL the son of Terry and Bernice Duncan. He married Robin Priest January 18, 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. Joseph worked as a salesman in the area for several years. After retirement he started Smokin Joe’s Lazy Dog BBQ Food Truck. He loved cooking BBQ and continued to serve great BBQ for 16 years. Joseph was also an avid Budweiser stein collector.

Survivors include his wife Robin; daughter Cindy Purifoy; sons Christopher (Jennifer) Duncan and Shawn (Kathy) Duncan; stepchildren Jessica, Joshua, and Jamie (Billy); grandchildren Schona, Kayla, Jack, and Brianne; step grandchildren Genny, Barbara, and Skylar; great grandchildren Cassidy and Ryleigh; sister-in-law Laura Duncan; nieces and nephews Tammy (Mike) Bryant, Terry (Kim) McMaster, Tina Klauer, Jeff McMaster, Michelle Schaeffer Valle, Paul Schaeffer, and Alex Duncan.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, sister Connie, brother Curt, sister Sandy, nephew Kevin McMaster, brother-in-law Kenny McMaster and his beloved dog Pearl.
