Joseph "J.R." Schaecher, 30, of Colona, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, in Silvis.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
He was born Jan. 1, 1981, in Moline, to Carla J. Schaecher.
He loved being outdoors and spending time with his family and his dogs.
Survivors include his mother, Carla Schaecher; grandparents, Pat and Ken Schaecher; son, Kenny Dwyer; aunts, Theresa (Mike) Coultas, Brenda (Joe) Terrell; siblings, Robby, Brad, Luke, Garry, Jade and Drey Sims; and several cousins.
