Josephine "Jo" Larrison, 87, of East Moline, died Aug. 30, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, is assisting the family with arrangements.
She was born May 25, 1925, in East Moline, daughter of Cyriel and Anna Schuth Poelvoorde. She married William "Dick" Larrison, Jan. 16, 1944, in Muscatine, Iowa. Dick died June 21, 1985.
Jo worked for Buddy L during World War II. She enjoyed reading and going out to eat with her family.
Survivors include her children, Diane Comins, Moline, Sandra (James) Dixon, Rock Island, William (Sandra) Larrison, Taylor Ridge, and Robert (Anne) Larrison, Silvis; grandchildren, Larry Bazor, Jacob Bazor, Sherri Dixon, Pamela Becker, Lori Miller, Ryan Larrison and Misty Larrison; stepgrandchildren, Ryan Owens and Sara Starberg; six great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and two grandchildren.
