Juanita Bushong Kazenske

Juanita M. Bushong Kazenske, 91, of Silvis passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Friendship Manor in Rock Island.

Funeral services will be 10am Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to cancer research.

Juanita was born September 18, 1930 in Ozark County, MO the daughter of George and Maggie (Hicks) Pool. She married Jesse Bushong February 25, 1948 in Baxter County, Arkansas. He passed away March 16, 1982. Together they had 6 children, Beverly (Roger) Martin, Lyle (Janice) Bushong, Linda (Lyn) Rogers, Leland (Connie) Bushong, Leonuel (Lynn) Bushong, and Clint (Faye) Bushong. Juanita later married Joseph Kazenske May 18, 1996 in Colona. He passed away December 31, 2005. Juanita enjoyed playing Pitch, gardening, and sewing. She loved and adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by 5 children; one sister, Veda Bushong of Ava, MO; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Juanita was preceded in death by her parents. 2 husbands, daughter Beverly Martin, 8 siblings, granddaughter Jessica Bushong, and 2 great granddaughters Amber Martin and Isabella Reed.
