Juanita Rogers, 82, Colona, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Genesis Illini, Silvis. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial is at Moline Memorial. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born on Sept. 21, 1932, in Columbus, Miss., to Jesse Lee Adams and Edna Petty Adams. She married George Rogers on June 17, 1951. She was employed as head salad lady at Moline Elks for 32 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, flea markets, auctions and antiques. Survivors are sons, Jesse (Holly) Rogers, Erie, Rick Rogers, Colona; her beloved dog, Pooch; special friend, Renate; grandchildren, Bryan (Missy) Rogers, Anthony Rogers and Julie Rogers; great-grandchildren, Kayley and Dawson Rogers; and siblings, Angela Hutcheson, Sulligent, Ala. She was preceded in death by her parents; George, her husband of 60 years; and six brothers.
