Karl Anderson

Karl A. Anderson, 59, of Silvis, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at his home. Per his wishes, there will be no services and cremation rites will be accorded. He was born April 12, 1953, in Moline, to Melvin and Martha Malmstrom Anderson. He worked as a truck mechanic in California for 24 years. He loved drag racing and was the owner of Anderson Brothers Racing. He was a member of the Ozark Mountain Super Shifters and also enjoyed gardening. Survivors include his true love, Gloria Perkins; children, Theresa (Andrew) Nevener, Shannon Duncan; six grandchildren, Ronald Gordon, Raynn Oechsner, Ashley, Joseph, Tyler and Tanner Duncan; siblings, Fred (Mary) Anderson, Christina Hardi, James (Greta) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents.
