Karna Heald

Karna R. Heald, 57, of Colona passed away Oct. 8, 2016 at Illini Restorative Care Center in Silvis.

Karna was born April 29, 1959 in Moline, IL the daughter of Carl B. and Gay Ann Waffle Heald. She worked in healthcare until her illness prevented her from working. Karna was a member of the Colona United Methodist Church. She enjoyed needlework, crafting, and spending time with her furry child Daisy. Karna reveled in spoiling her many nieces and nephews; Taylor, Sarah, Tanner, Nicole, Abigail, Lowden, Grae, Spencer, and great niece Claire.

Survivors include her siblings: Lynn (Susan Abbott) Heald of Oak Park, Janet (Dave) Strom of Plainfield, JoAnn Shrum and Todd Heald of East Moline; close friends Holly (Mike) Wildermuth of Colona and Claudia Gremillion of Osco. Karna was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Pam. A private memorial service will be held. Schroder Mortuary in Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.
