Kathleen Brewer

Kathleen J. Brewer of East Moline passed away May 25, 2015 at her home. A funeral Mass will be held 11am Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Colona. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to service time at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Genesis Home Hospice Care or to the family. Kathleen worked at Illini Hospital in housekeeping. She loved bowling, soap operas and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 51 years Freeman E. Brewer; sons Eddie of Casper, WY, Michael of South Dakota and Cynthia (Mitch) Borgel of Carbon Cliff; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings Mary Colon and Mike Puett both of CA and Wayne Puett of MO and several nieces and nephews. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents and a step father. The family would like to thank Genesis Hospice Home Care for the loving care given to Kathleen.
