Kelvin L. Bell

Kelvin Lee Bell, 42, of East Moline passed away February 7, 2023 at OSF Saint Francis Medical center in Peoria, Illinois.

Funeral Services will be 12 noon Friday, February 17th at Mt Zion Baptist Church in East Moline, Illinois. Visitation will be 10AM until time of service with sharing of memories starting at 11AM. Burial will be in Hampton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kelvin Lee Bell was born July 10, 1980 in Moline, IL, the son of Elijah and Darlene Bell. He graduated from UTHS in 1998. Kelvin enjoyed painting, working on residential & commercial projects, western movies, grilling out, traveling, motorcycles/sports cars, gambling, sharing stories and spending quality time with family & friends. Kelvin loved people & never met a stranger. He had a smile that was contagious & laughter that could soothe any soul.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother: Darlene Bell-Liggins (Dennis); Grandmother Kathryn Teague; Fiancé Keesha Carpenter; Children Kelvonte’, Keelan, Aleryn & Keshawn; Grandchildren Kynzlee & Khari; Siblings Julius Arrington (Cynthia) & Sounja Teague & Isaac Bell (Cierra); Nieces & Nephews Jalen, Alexis, Jade, Eliah, Maurice, Zaiden & Blake; Cousins Katrel, Trianna, Cabalin & a host of other special cousins, aunts, uncles & friends.

Kelvin was preceded in death by his father Elijah Bell; Grandfather Crotis Teague; Sister Katrina Arrington; Grandparents James & Betty Bell; & Stepson Lashawn “Pudda G”.
