Kenneth Jeffrey

Kenneth Jeffrey, 69, of Silvis, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Aspen Rehab & Health Care, Silvis. He fought a lengthy illness and is now in heaven. Per his wishes, he will be cremated. Burial will be at a later date. He was born April 1, 1945, in Davenport, to Francis and Sadie Lauritzson Jeffrey. He married Linda E. Hayes on Nov. 29, 1968, in Silvis. Kenneth was a wonderful husband and father. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed going to car shows and playing darts. He loved Arizona and spending time with family. Survivors include his wife, Linda Jeffrey; two sons, Steven (Beth) Jeffrey and William E. Jeffrey, both of Arizona; grandchildren, Maxwell and Luke Jeffrey, Arizona; sister (and brother-in-law), Rosalie (Allen) McGuiness, East Moline; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Fern Corey.
