La Deane Booth, 82, of Rock Island, died Monday, May 7, 2012, at St. Anthony's Health & Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.
She will be cremated, and there will be no visitation or service. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Deane was born in Decorah, Iowa, on Aug. 20, 1929, to Fred and Ada Sharp. She married Ralph Booth, who died in 1991. She loved to cook, bake and play euchre. She also loved animals.
Deane is survived by her sister, Dallas Halx, and her brother, Jerry Sharp, Rock Island, both of whom provided so much loving care during her several years of challenging health issues. She also is survived by her sister, Norma Kruse, Rock Island; her brother, James Sharp, Aledo; a special nephew, Dr. Mark Halx, San Antonio, Texas; several other nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Megan Horton, Rock Island.
Preceding her in death was her sister, Alda Bruckmann; and two brothers, Dale Sharp and Dewey Sharp.
