Laura M. Timbrook

Laura M. Timbrook, 43, of Colona passed away August 6, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be 10am Monday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 1-4pm Sunday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family for her sons.

Laura was born March 20, 1979 in Rock Island the daughter of David and Helen “Aimee” Shaw. She married Ted Timbrook October 12, 2002 in Rock Island. Laura worked as a medical receptionist at Eye Surgeon Associates for several years. She was a member of Free Mom Hugs Quad Cities and was an avid soccer fan. She even played on the boys soccer team at Rock Island High School. Laura enjoyed her bonfires and loved spending time with friends and family. Her boys and her pets were her pride and joy. She was also looking forward to being an Air Force Mom.

Survivors include her parents David (Aimee) Shaw of Rock Island; husband Ted Timbrook of Colona; stepson Matthew (Kylie Cervantes) Lutz of Rock Island; sons Carter and Marcus Timbrook both of Colona; grandson Archer Lutz; siblings Scott (Kristen) Shaw of Rock Island, Hilary Shaw of Rock Island, and Corey (Jolene) Shaw of Moline; in laws Hank (Shirley) Timbrook of Colona; several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; her dogs Payton and Max and her cats Zoey and Oreo.

Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents Gerald (Dorothy) Sutton and Linville (Vera) Shaw.
