Lee Bartholomew

Lee F. Bartholomew, 40, of East Moline, passed away April 22, 2015, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis, with visitation two hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Lee was born Dec. 4, 1974, in Moline, the son of Bill and Nancy Wellman Bartholomew. He was a cook at the Palace and also was a metal scrapper. Most recently, he spent most of his time helping his parents. Lee enjoyed fishing, hanging and grilling out with his buddies and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. Survivors include his parents, Bill and Nancy Bartholomew; sister, Lisa (Don) Hengl-Bartholomew and their children, Bailey, Isabella and Logan; aunt, Julie Phelps and her son, Andrew Phelps; aunt, Barbara LeGrand; aunt, Patsy Wellman and her son, Joe Wellman; cousin, Greg (Pat) LeGrand and their children; close friends, Corey, John, Jason, Neil, Beefy, Pauly, Mike and many more. Lee was preceded in death by his cousin, Dale LeGrand; and a grandmother, Alda Bartholomew.
