Leonard "Lennie" R. DeBoard, 55, of Rock Island, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Heartland Health Care, Galesburg.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born Oct. 30, 1955, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Leonard and Thelma Tucker DeBoard.
He worked in the restaurant business. He enjoyed gardening and traveling, but the restaurant business was his life.
Survivors include his mother, Thelma DeBoard, Silvis; sister, Juanita Peterman, Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers, Larry DeBoard, Port Byron, Timothy DeBoard, Bronson, Mo., Jeff DeBoard, St. Port Lucia, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Lucas and Larry DeBoard, Liza Mueller, Tony, Melissa and Katie Peterman, Kayla and Jeffrey Allen DeBoard; several more nieces and nephews; special friends, Joy, John and Debbie.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Leslie Howard.
