Lisa Daniel

Lisa McDaniel, 24, of Colona, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Davenport. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Memorials may be made to the family. She was born May 29, 1988, in Silvis, to Roger and Sharon Kelly McDaniel. Lisa worked at Hy-Vee in Moline as a stocker and cashier. She also was working on her master's degree at Western Illinois University. She was very passionate about animals and made donations to the World Wildlife Federation and also volunteered and worked at Niabi Zoo. She enjoyed crafts, drawing, arts and playing tennis. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Sharon McDaniel, Colona; sisters, Tracy (Gibson) Costa, Colona, and Amanda McDaniel, Colona; her dog, Louie. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Mildred Kelly and Earl and Mary Jo McDaniel.
