Lyle A. Fick, 83, of Silvis, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, at Trinity Rock Island.
Per Lyle's wishes, he was cremated. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Hampton Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Silvis United Methodist Church or Chaddock Home of Quincy.
Lyle was born Dec. 10, 1927, in Buffalo, the son of Alfred and Helene Mischke Fick. He was a forklift driver at John Deere Harvester in East Moline, retiring on 1985. He was a member of UAW.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Jerold; and his stepmother, Ruth Fick
