Maggie Huskey, 73, of Milan, passed away Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Beulah Cemetery, Orion.
Maggie was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Carbon Hill, Ala., the daughter of Pierce and Mary Whitson Tittle. She married Teddy Huskey Dec. 7, 1954, in Kennett, Mo. He passed away Dec. 27, 2011.
Maggie was an excellent seamstress and worked for JC Penny, Lou Marge's and Deb's Bridal. She enjoyed reading her Bible, drawing, painting and spending time with her children, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Eugenia (Gerald) Green, Spring, Texas, Laura (Randy) Allison, Becker, Minn., Toni (Frank) Whitcher, Kewanee, Randy Huskey, Rock Island, and Tracy (Douglas) Sorrell, Sherrard; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband and a brother, Bud.
