Marcella R. Anderson, 88, of Carbon Cliff, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at her home.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation is two hours prior to service time at the mortuary. Burial is at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Carbon Cliff United Methodist Church.
She was born Jan. 15, 1922, in Andover, to John and Ruby Fors Brodd. She married Wayne R. Anderson on June 14, 1942, in Moline. He passed away Jan. 20, 1983.
She played piano at Carbon Cliff United Methodist Church for 21 years and was also very active in the ladies group there.
Survivors include her son, Gerald R. (Carol) Anderson, Moline; daughter, Margo (Mark) Harper, Moline; grandchildren, Teresa Isaacson, Jennifer Ruby, Matthew Anderson and Melissa Maring; and great-granddaughter, Ashleigh Ruby. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, David Wayne; and grandson, Andrew Carl Anderson.
