Margaret E. Huston, 91, East Moline, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at Trinity Rock Island.
Services are10:30 a.m. Friday at Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is4-7 Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to the church or the American Heart Association.
She was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Prophetstown, to Clarence and Corda Stewart Farrell. She married Richard K. Huston Nov. 14, 1947, in East Moline.
She was a member of the United Methodist Women's group at Christ United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed reading and listening to the radio.
Survivors include her son, Dennis (Marcia) Huston, East Moline; grandchildren, Eric VanValkenburg, Broomfield, Colo., Krista (Jay) Rockeman, Broomfield, Colo., Beverly (Daniel) Armstrong, Hampton, and Marlena (Nicholas) Urbain, Eldridge; great-grandchildren,Jordan, McKenna, Jack, Gianna, Ava, Elijah; brothers, Wayne Farrell, Morrison. She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Sandra VanValkenburg; and sisters, Kaye Nickerson and Joyce Selander.
