Mary Ann Liedtke, 82, of Moline, passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012, at Rosewood Care Center in Moline.Per her wishes, Mary Ann was cremated, and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church, 2015 2W Ave., East Moline, where she was a member. Burial will be at Andover Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.Mary Ann was born Feb. 13, 1930, in Macomb, Ill., the oldest of 14 children to Leo and Gertrude Reed Carey. She owned and operated the Silvis Cafe and worked most of her life as a waitress. She enjoyed games and crafts and watching NASCAR races with her family. She also loved wildlife and nature, especially watching birds and deer out of her window.Survivors include her children, David Ransdell, Theresa (George) Guthrie, Scott Liedtke, Greg Liedtke, Pam (John) Keck, Mike (Deb) Liedtke, Rick (Rhonda) Liedtke, Steve Liedtke and Theresa Grimes; grandchildren, Brandie (Joshua) Park, Ron D. Wilson, Jessie Liedtke, Jamie Liedtke and Scott Liedtke; great-grandchildren, Ian and Jonas Park and Madison Liedtke; siblings, Cora Alexander, Patricia (Bud) Schorpp, Gary (Joetta) Carey, Jack (Ruth Ann) Carey, Gene Carey, Cheryl (Jesse) Crouch, Terry (Jim) Crouch and Frances Staub; and several nieces and nephews.Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Debra Liedtke; and siblings, Georgia Fordham, Leo Carey, Dorothy Phipps, June DeShane and Robert Carey.
