Mary L. Mason

Mary L. Mason, 94, Bettendorf passed away November 3, 2022 at Bethany Home Retirement Center in Dubuque.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday, November 14, 2022 at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis with visitation from 10:30 until service time. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Mary was born January 6, 1928 in Davenport, IA the daughter of Henry and Elsie (Martin) LaFeber. She married Wilbur Mason June 22, 1947 in Portland, OR. He passed away January 1, 2014. Mary was a bookkeeper for her husbands business Masons Creations. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, cooking, watching cooking shows, and collected hummingbirds.

Survivors include her sons Scott Mason of Belville, NC and Randy (Cheri) Mason of Dubuque, IA; grandchildren JoeAnn Mason, Kerry (Jerry) New, Jacob (Jenn) Mason, Dr. Nicole (DJ) Jedlicka, and Ryan Mason; great grandchildren Emily Swan, Heidi (Carson Filko) Swan, Amber New, Mason Jedlicka, Emmet Jedlicka, and Anna Jedlicka.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Jodi Conklin, and daughter in law Kerryl Mason.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Dubuque and the staff at Bethany Home for the care given to Mary.
