Mary Elliott Mobley, 78, of Winfield, Ala., passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Northwest Medical Center at Winfield. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Mary was born on June 28, 1934, in Marion County, a daughter of Jason Clarence Elliott and Flora Mae Vaughn Elliott. She was a resident of Moline for 48 years and a resident of Winfield for the past year. Survivors include two grandchildren, Michelle Macklin and her husband, Adam, and Bradley Mobley; three great-grandchildren, Audrey Leagh, Molly Mae and Mia Jane Macklin; two brothers, Junior "J.C." Elliott and his wife, Linda, and Robert Elliott, both of Winfield; three sisters, Alice Grant and her companion, Gordon McCormick, Linda E. Sandlin and her husband, Louis S. "Scotty," and Deborah Goodwin, all of Winfield; and nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all three of her children, Michael, Cheryl and Kenny Mobley; and two brothers, Buford and Roger Dale Elliott.
