Mary Ann Gargano Rogers, 85, of Moline, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at Trinity Rock Island. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be at St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center. She was born April 29, 1928, in Chicago, to Leo and Anna Papalia Gargano. She was a beautician and owner of Powder Puff Salon in Moline. She enjoyed arranging flowers, painting pictures, crocheting and gardening. Survivors include her daughters, Christa Shaffer, LaMoille, Ill., Tina (Dean) Tennant, Orion, Andrea (Clayton) Poff, Memphis, Tenn., Melissa Korzenowski, Plymouth, Minn., Dana Rogers, Rock Island; nine grandchildren, Jennifer, Lee, Matthew, Ryan, Adam, April, Michelle, Michael and Jack; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Louis and Joe Gargano. She was preceded in death by her parents.
