Mary Ann Vallee, 88, of East Moline, passed away Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1450 30th Ave., East Moline. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
Mary Ann was born June 13, 1925, in Chicago, to Charles and Anna Masny Daiker. She married Edward Vallee on Oct. 31, 1944, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Edward died Sept. 1, 1980. Mary Ann was a secretary and bookkeeper for DeLeon Thompson and also a sales clerk for Von Maur. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline. Survivors include her daughter, Donna (Bill) Green, Rapids City; sons, Charles "Buzz" (Mandy) Vallee, East Moline, Bill (Lora) Vallee, East Moline, and Gary (Patricia) Vallee, Quincy; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband.
