Michael Kent Lofgren

Michael “Kent” Lofgren, 66, of East Moline passed away August 26, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Continuing Care Center in Rock Island.

Graveside services will be 11am Thursday at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Kent was born June 3, 1957 in Moline, IL the son of Andree and Clarice Blunt Lofgren. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years and enjoyed gardening, tinkering, and loved spending time with his dog Kobe.

Survivors include his sisters Debra (Jeff Downing) Lofgren and Kelly (Randy) Payne; nephews Justin (Amber) Payne, Mitchell (Susan) Payne, and Geoffrey Payne and several great nieces and nephews.

Kent was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sherry Lofgren, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
