Mildred Bosley

Mildred "Peg" Bosley, 91, of Silvis, died on Nov, 6, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Burial is at Rose Lawn Memorial Estates, Moline. Visitation is from 5 to 7 Friday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Silvis United Methodist Church. She was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Green Castle, Mo., to Homer and Bertha Stairs Riley. She married Lewis L. Bosley in 1942. He died October 1978. Mildred was a 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star, Silvis United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Susannah Circle. Survivors include, her son, William (Velma) Bosley, Pratt, Kan.; grandchildren, Brian Bosley, Breanna Bosley and Tyler Bosley, of Pratt, and Melissa (Corey) Bosley, Arlington, Texas; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters.
