Myron James

Myron James, 83, of East Moline passed away December 9, 2018 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.

Funeral services will be 10am Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship.

Myron was born January 14, 1935 in Fall River, South Dakota the son of Luke and Ada Edleman James. He married Barbara Wilson July 18, 1953 in Moline. She passed away September 17, 2016. Myron retired from Caterpillar after 36 years. He enjoyed building, mechanics and working in general.

Survivors include his children Beth (Brett) Morley of Waunakee, IL and John (Lori) James of East Moline; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; sisters Ruth and Vicky; brothers Ronald and Dennis.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and a son Michael.
