Nancy Henderson

Nancy K. Henderson, 66 of Alton, Mo., formerly of Colona, died Sept. 24, 2008, in West Plains, Mo. Funeral services will be noon Monday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. In Lieu of flowers, memorials will be established. The former Nancy Kay Wells was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Rock Island, the daughter of Louis and Gladys McCauley Wells. She married Kenneth Henderson on March 12, 1994, in Hampton. She enjoyed making porcelain dolls and had her own doll store, teaching others. She filled every doll with love, especially the ones she gave to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Alton, Mo.; her sons, Jeff McIntire, Silvis, Mark (Diane) McIntire, East Moline, Scott (Frances) McIntire, Silvis, and Doug McIntire, Moline; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, JoAnn Castens, East Moline, Shirley (Don) Lemaster, Moline, Patty (Dave) Myers, Moline, Carol Whitmarsh, Silvis; brothers, Bob (Dixie) Wells, Texas, and Kevin Wells, California; special family friends, Ron Carmichael, Silvis, Debbie Rowe, Coal Valley, and Kathleen DePauw, East Moline. A granddaughter, Ashley Nicole McIntire, and her parents preceded her.
