Nichole S. Brandt

Nichole S. Brandt, 49, of Silvis passed away August 20, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. 

Private graveside services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to Kings Harvest Animal Shelter. 

Nichole was born December 15, 1974 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Michael and Sondra Decker Gillespie. She married Freddy Brandt Jr. on August 25, 2007 in Moline. Nichole received her associate’s degree in business from Brown Macke College. She worked at Genesis Medical Center in guest services and was a Real Estate Agent. Nichole enjoyed helping people and has continued to do so by donating her organs. She loved animals and cars and was proud of her red Lexus. 

Survivors include her mother Sondra Gillespie; brother Jeff (Kelly) Gillespie; sister Teresa (Dan) Gillespie Schafhauser; nieces and nephews Dr. Chris Schafhauser, Stephanie (Billy) Rewerts, Holly (Danny) Senor, and Kyle Schafhauser; Uncle Larry (Debie) Steffensmeier. 

Nichole was preceded in death by her father Michael Gillespie.
