Nicky Hudson, 53, of Carbon Cliff, died April 9, 2012, at his home
Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be at a later date. Schroder Mortuary, Colona, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to his family.
He was born Nov. 19, 1958, in Ottumwa, Iowa, son of Clyde and Priscilla Wilson Hudson. He married Jani Urbaniak March 9, 1991, in Colona.
Nicky was a computer tech in the Air Force. He was a truck driver for Hummer Trucking.
Nicky enjoyed riding his motorcycle, playing NFL video football and watching football with his wife. Nicky loved making people laugh but was always there to lend a shoulder to lean on.
Survivors include his wife, Jani; children, Jennifer (William) Conner, Virginia Beach, Va., and Carly Jade Hudson, at home; mother, Pat Wilson, Eldon, Iowa; brother, Tristen Wilson, Eldon; special grandfather, John Pearson, Batavia, Iowa; special aunts and uncles, Linda and Dennis Morgan, Ottumwa, and Ronald Canny, Libertyville, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his dad, Clyde Hudson; grandmother, Kathleen Pearson; and grandfather, Charles Canny.
