Ninita M. Rexroth, 91, of East Moline, died on Thursday May 9, 2013, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis. Services are at 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at Wildwood Baptist Church in East Moline where she was a member. Burial is at Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Iowa. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church. She was born on Sept. 25, 1921, in Wapello, Iowa, to Murray and Bertha Beik Limbocker. Ninita graduated from Burlington Business College. She married Allen L. Rexroth on Aug. 30, 1945, in San Francisco, Calif. He passed away on June 5, 2008. She was employed as a secretary at Bowlesburg Elementary School, retiring in 1984. Prior to that, she worked at Bethany Home. During the early 1940s, she worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant. In the late '50s and early '60s, she owned the Panthers Den Root Beer Stand. She also owned the Silvis Heights Mobile Home Park. She taught piano and was an election judge in Silvis. Survivors include her children, Dr. Thomas (Sharon) Rexroth, Burlington, Iowa, Dr. Curtis (Kay) Rexroth, Moline, and Kristine (Steve) Brutsche, Rock Island; seven grandchildren, Dr. Jason Rexroth, Dr. Joel Rexroth, Jena Wright, Alex Brutsche, Sara Brutsche, Ayla Rexroth and Erich Rexroth; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four sisters.
