Norma Holzinger

Norma Holzinger, 87, of Carbon Cliff passed away March 30, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.
Funeral services will be Monday 11am at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Visitation will be Sunday 1-4pm at the mortuary, burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.
Norma was born July 6, 1929 in Fulton County, IL the daughter of Charles and Mary Ada Suydam Allison. She married Bernard Leroy Holzinger May 3, 1947. Norma was a charter member of the Women's Auxiliary in Tolona, IL and the Bunco Club for over 40 years. Norma enjoyed sewing, needlework and traveling with her sister and family.
Survivors include her children Charles (Doris) Holzinger of New Port Richie, FL, Robert (Claire) Holzinger of Moline, Sandra (Roger) Jacobs of Moline, Sherry (Ed) Boden of North Carolina and Sue (Dave) DeDecker of Orion; 10 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; brothers Lyle A. (Marilyn) Allison of KY and Larry (Doreen) Allison of CA, and a sister Lila Allen of Peoria.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents; son Steven Holzinger, daughter in law Jeani Holzinger and a grandson Sean Holzinger.
