Norma Miller

Norma M. Miller, 91, of Moline passed away October 8, 2021 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11am Thursday at East Moline Four Square Church with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church or Genesis Hospice.

Norma was born January 31, 1930 in Hillsdale, IL the daughter of James Sr. and Mildred (Shimer) Black. She married Frederick E. Miller August 11, 1948 in Moline, IL. He passed away October 27, 2012. Norma was a seamstress, a Sunday school teacher, and enjoyed playing the saxophone, camping, and traveling to Branson, MO.

Survivors include her children Ronald (Wanda) Miller and Carol (Charlie) Mockmore; grandchildren Dawn, Andy, Faith, Brandon, and Christian; several great and great great grandchildren; brother James Black, and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son David Miller, daughter Elizabeth Miller, sister Doris (Dale) Copelan, and sister-in-law Delores Black.
