Norma Murray

Norma Murray, 81, of Colona passed away July 19, 2018 at her home.

Funeral services will be 11am Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude.

Norma was born Nov. 21, 1936 in Warsaw, IL the daughter of Elmer and Belva Robinson Brown. She married Bobby Joe Murray Feb. 18, 1956 in Rock Island, IL. He passed away Sept. 30, 1981. She worked at Oak Glen Home as a dietician and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.

Survivors include her children Brenda (Robert) Owen of Colona and William (Michelle) Murray of Colona; grandchildren Janal (Chris) Oliva, Natalie (Anthony) Oliva, Bobby Joe Murray and Jessica Murray; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers Clarence Brown of Wyoming, IA and Elmer Brown of Kewanee and several nieces and nephews.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents; husband and sisters Marilyn Lynch and Mary Sue Grubaugh.
