Patricia Rogers

Patricia Ann Rogers, 69 , of Colona passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Genesis Medical Center West Campus. Visitation will be 4-7PM Friday at Schroder Mortuary Colona, IL. Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Memorials may be made to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church where Patricia was a beloved member. Patricia was born December 3,1944 in Carrollton IL the daughter of Hubert and Lucille Houseman. She was a devoted mother and grandmother with an unwavering faith in our Lord. She earned her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Western Illinois University, later teaching as a substitute teacher at local schools. Patricia touched the lives of many through her years of work as a certified nursing assistant. Survivors include her sons William (Julie) Houseman Marina Del Rey, California, Russell Houseman Colona, Illinois ; grandchildren Nicholas and Nathan Houseman Tucson Arizona, Jessica and Lee Houseman Colona, Illinois. Siblings Jacqueline Smith East Moline., Illinois, Carole Wisroth Pine Bluffs, WY , William Houseman Davenport, IA , Linda Roe, Bourne, MA , Lois Eubank, Rockport, TX, as well as many nephews, nieces, cousins, and loving family members. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents , and her brother James Houseman.
