Paul Taylor, 69, of Silvis, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Specialty Select Hospital in Davenport.
Per his wishes he will be cremated. Burial will be in Bonapart Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to Waubonsie Park for playground equipment. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Paul was born March 16, 1941, in Monmouth, Ill., the son of John and Ruth Freeman Taylor.
Survivors include a son, D. Wayne Taylor and his family; siblings, EvelynUllman of Clearwater, Fla., Earl Taylor of Mesa, Ariz., Betty Willensen of Macomb, Mildred (Bobby) Sampson of Galesburg, and Judy (Wayne) Thornsberry of Cantrell, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and special friend Carole Deyo.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
