Phyllis Marie Setser-Pepping, 79, of Colona, died Sept. 22, 2012, at Aspen Health Care, Silvis.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial is at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to Aspen Health and Rehab Activity Department.
She was born April 27, 1933, in Aledo, to R. Seth and Sula Mae Parkins Chandler. She married Henry Lee Setser Nov. 27, 1949, in Macomb. He passed away in 1992. She later married Christopher J. Pepping Sept. 6, 1997, in East Moline. He passed away in 2008.
She worked at John Deere Administration building for 25 years
She was a member of the Colona American Legion Auxillary, Colona Senior Citizens Group, St. Anne's Rosary Society and was a past member of Moline Activity Center. Phyllis enjoyed camping and crocheting.
Survivors include her daughters, Marsha (Dick) Dunsworth, Colona, Connie Friday, Moline, Sandra (Dan) Lenth, Colona, Luan (Chuck) Cunningham, Colona, Judy (Rick) Bower, Port Byron, Debby (John) Pepping, Colona; son, Bobby Setser (Cindy), Indianapolis, Ind.; 23 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rita (Terry) Schissler of Monument, Colo.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; a son, Jack Setser; a grandson; two great-grandsons; two brothers; a sister; and a son-in-law.
