Rachel Owens

Rachel Sue Owens, 46, of Colona passed away May 26, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus, Silvis.

A memorial service will be 3pm Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

Rachel was born April 19, 1976 in Geneseo, IL the daughter of Chris Owens and Tina Dutton. She worked as an insurance agent and enjoyed gospel and country music. Her family was most important to her. She loved her niece and nephews and thought the sun and moon rose and set on them. Rachel had a very bubbly personality, was always there for others, and always had a smile on her face.

Survivors include her mother Tina Dutton; father Chris Owens; brother Jason (Mickey) Owens; niece Mallory and nephews Christian, Alex, and Carter.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Earl (Betty) Holder and Dennis (Evelyn) Owens.
