Ralph R. Crist

Ralph R. Crist, 98, of Colona passed away August 8, 2022 at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo.

Funeral services will be 10am Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.

Ralph was born January 21, 1924 in Colona, IL the son of Robert and Bessie (Deem) Crist. He served in the Army during WWII in the 44^th Division 63^rd Combat Engineers A Company. Ralph married Kathryn L. Lundahl June 23, 1946 in East Moline. She passed away January 2, 1999.

Ralph worked at International Harvester as a combine repairman for 30 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of Foresters and the Colona American Legion Post 1233. Ralph was an all-around handyman. He built 2 homes and enjoyed fixing things and working in his garage.

Survivors include his children Bob (Mary Kay) Crist and Sandi Crist all of East Moline; grandchildren Allen (Ana) Crist and Keith Crist and his cat miss kitty.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sam Crist, Allen Crist, Mary Lou Chrisop, and Barb Miller.
