Ray Leon Foster

Ray Leon Foster, 72, of Texas formerly of Green Rock passed away December 4, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. 

A celebration of life will be 12:00 – 2:00 PM Saturday February 10, 2024 at the Colona Community Center (617 8th Street Colona, IL 61241). 

Ray was born January 3, 1951 to Junior and Elizabeth Foster. He joined the Army in 1968 when he was 17 years old and was honorably discharged due to medical reasons. 

Survivors include his children Tracy Foster of Erie, IL, Trisha Foster of Livingston, 
Montana, and Terra Whitmarsh of Barstow, IL; grandchildren Justin Goldsberry, Kelsey Goldsberry, Zackary Foster, Matthew Foster, Christopher Foster, Samantha Erling, Kylie Lyon, Faith Whitmarsh, Mykel Ruhnow; 16 great grandchildren; sister Linda Cassaboon of Washington and many nieces and nephews. 

Ray was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Vicki Foster and Della Elaine Foster.
