Raymond F. Meloen Jr., 77, of Rock Island, died Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Forest Hill Health and Rehab, East Moline.
Per his wishes, there will be no services and he will be cremated.
He was born July 11, 1935, in Kewanee, to Raymond F. Sr. and Eleanor Schaefer Meloen. He married Mary Lou Schulz Aug. 19, 1961, in Kewanee.
He worked as a machine tool lathe operator at the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include his sons, David M. and Michael F. Meloen; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Debra Marie Griffin.
