Remonia J. Hodge, 79, of East Moline, died Sunday, Jan. 8, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus in Silvis
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Friends and family can meet at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, at 12:30 p.m. to go to the cemetery.
She was born Jan. 28, 1932, in Harrisberg, Ill., to George and Daisy Bowman Stevers. She married Thomas E. Hodge July 18, 1964, in Rock Island. He passed away Dec. 12, 1999.
Remonia enjoyed baking and was the neighborhood mom.
Survivors include her sons, Jack Lemaster, Colona, Thomas R. Hodge, East Moline; grandchildren, Holly Newburg, Thomas J Hodge, Cameron Lemaster, Zack Lemaster and Molly Hodge; and siblings, Romane Walker, Betty Lemaster, Dean King and Roy Stevers. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, George E. Lemaster
