Richard Lewis DeWulf, 74, of Colona graced this earth starting June 15, 1947. He went to be with the Lord October 6, 2021.
Funeral services will be 11am Thursday at St. John’s Church, Geneseo. Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Memorials may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research.
Richard graduated from UTHS in 1965. He married Sharon Kay Larson May 22, 1971. They had 50 years of wedded bliss. He worked at Case IH, retiring after 30 years. Richard was a member of Antique Automobiles of America and License Club. He had a large collection of license plates and model cars. Richard raced his model T in Kewanee Hog Days many times. He also enjoyed junking with his friend Jerry Schneider.
Left with fond memories are his wife Sharon and his beautiful daughter Jennifer. Also grieving are his brother Michael (Marcella) DeWulf and his nephew Kevin.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Bernice DeWulf.
