Richard L. Hahn, 80, of Silvis, died Monday, July 4, 2011, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
As he wished, Richard was cremated. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.
He was born July 19, 1930, in Moline, son of David and Mildred Hahn. He married Margerie E. Lowery on Jan. 30, 1965, in Moline. She passed away Jan. 18, 1985.
He served in the Army during the Korean War and was very proud of his military service. He was a truck driver for the Teamsters.
He enjoyed vacationing with his wife in Florida, spending time with his friends and neighbors. He was always helping his neighbors and was the neighborhood watchman. He also enjoyed fishing.
