Richard Holmes

Richard A. Holmes, 73, of East Moline died Feb. 1, 2018 at Hope Creek Care Center in East Moline. Per his wishes he will be cremated. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements. Private burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date. Richard A Holmes was born January 25, 1945, in Moline, the son of Forest and Evelyn Allen Holmes. He served in the Army, and worked in construction. He is survived by his brother Dennis Holmes of Colona and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Terrance L. Holmes.
