Richard "Rick" Troutwine, 58, of Colona, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at his home.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Burial is at Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorials may be made to the family.
He was born Jan. 3, 1953, in Boone, Iowa, son of Frank and Janice Rarker Troutwine. He married Michele Mountain on May 23, 1992, in Colona.
He worked in the shipping department at John Deere Harvester, retiring in November 2009.
Rick was a member of Local 865. He loved fishing, playing horseshoes, cooking and grilling, being with his grandkids, hanging out in the garage and family gatherings.
Survivors (and spouses) include his wife, Michele; children, Jennifer Troutwine, Jeremy (Sarah) Troutwine, Marisa Underwood, Jeff (Jenny) Troutwine, Kristen (James Fecht) Underwood; grandchildren, Devan, Addison and Lily Troutwine; siblings, Chuck (Sherry) Troutwine, Theresa Ostrowski and Laurie (Scott) Schafer. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Raymond.
