Robert Alexander

Robert L. Alexander, 62, of Barstow passed away Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.

A memorial service will be 10am Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Memorial visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday at the mortuary. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center.

Robert was born February 5, 1957 in Moline, IL the son of Kermit and Delores Inskeep Alexander. He worked as a pattern maker and crane operator at Sivyer Steel in Bettendorf for 26 years. He loved riding his Harley and working on his ’68 Camaro in the garage. He was also a member of 3 down motorcycle club.

Surviving is the love of his life Melanie and their 3 beautiful children, who were the apple of his eye, Benjamin Alexander, Colton (Karlee) Alexander, and Miranda Alexander; grandchildren Kensleigh, Charlotte and a grandson on the way; brother Allen (Kathy) Alexander; niece Kerie Mora; nephew Brandon Alexander and great nephews Shaye and Francisco Jr.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Paula Breeden and Kristine Alexander.
