Robert Bergheger

Robert J. "Robbie" Bergheger, 44, of Colona, passed away April 2, 2014, at Genesis Medical Center, Silvis. Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Schroder Mortuary, Colona. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. He was born July 25, 1969, in Silvis, son of Paul and Victoria Phelps Bergheger. He married Bonie Beaston in April 1997, in Moline. He worked for Tyson Foods in Joslin for 20 years. Robbie loved spending time with his kids. Survivors include his parents, Paul and Victoria Bergheger, Colona; children, Jason Bergheger, Matthew Bergheger and Keith Bergheger, all of Carbon Cliff; one grandchild on the way; and brother, Daniel Bergheger, Colona.
